Interesting tidbits about Jessica
What strengths or unique talents do you bring to IN?
I am very detailed-oriented, ask lots of questions and am an avid list-maker. I enjoy learning and am passionate about food - I love trying new things, going out to eat and attempting to bake.

What is the worst food you’ve ever eaten? The most unique?
My most unique/worst/interesting food experience is the same. While studying in Greece I spent a weekend with an elderly Greek couple. They showed me a home video of how they caught and tenderized an octopus (a.k.a. netting it, dragging it from their boat onto shore, and finally hitting it with rocks while it squirmed about). Next, they brought out a plate of fresh octopus and pointed from the TV screen to the plate - that live octopus was now on a plate in front of me. I enjoyed the octopus, but could have done without the visual.

What kind of food(s) are you “in” to?
Italian! I love how fresh, simple ingredients can be combined and create delicious, complex delights!

What one item in the kitchen best describes you and your personality? Why?
Lemon Zester. Who doesn’t love being zesty?

What is your favorite word? What is your least?
Least: Whatever
Favorite: Tantalizing

If you could be an animal for one day, what would you be and why?
A dolphin. I saw them for the first time when I was in 3rd grade in Florida, they were
so playful and fun! My little sister got a dolphin stuffed animal - I've been jealous
ever since.
